Did some different art today. It's something loosely based off a meme I found via DeviantArt. I illustrated myself at the ages of 5, 13 and 20 (my current age).
Here's me at five years old. I was definitely a weird one; I preferred playing alone, getting lost in the woods nearby my old home. My head was a big poof of hair, and I had a speech problem. This was the age when I finally spoke, but not clearly (I had some symptoms of autism). Oh, and I loved everything about the Power Rangers.
Me at thirteen years old. Probably my most awkward age, especially physically. Little boobs, messy hair, always wanting to wear Abercrombie & Fitch (to fit in with everyone), and showing off my belly (a lot of girls at my middle school started doing it). It didn't help having braces, that's for sure. The one thing I had going for me was playing basketball (once I got to high school, I immediately got on the varsity team). At the time, I thought basketball was going to be my future. Interesting how things turn out.
Finally! I'm normal-looking now. Now that I've found my comfort with being in art school, it shows through the way I dress (I stick to what's most comfortable for me). I'm more conscious of the way I look and what lies ahead beyond school. We'll see how that goes.
