Fall Time

This time of year is perfect for walking through the historic Richmond Streets. I was inspired enough to make this. I worked differently this time: using pencil and charcoal vine to get some really great textures (the coloring was done in Photoshop). I tried to make it look not digitally-made, so I'll continue working this way to get that affect.

Head Shot Quickies

A speed painting I did a month or two ago that I forgot to upload, ha. Inspired by Mad Men's Christina Hendricks.

Practicing on speed drawing and making characters up. Each one took ten minutes maximum and were drawn straight in Photoshop. More of these to come soon!

Eclecticness

I did the lines with a 0.3 pen on watercolor paper, then colored in Photoshop (colors and style inspired by Milton Glaser). It feels good to be working and experimenting with these palettes (click to see its full colors!).

Next post, look out for some watercolor painting!
